Your device is the window. Each thread runs in one of three places, and you can choose per thread.
Local (your computer). Borg runs next to your own files. This is available in the desktop app.
Cloud (Borg's computer). Nothing to install. It wakes up when you send a request and sleeps when it is idle.
Remote (your other computer). Pair your desktop app once, then reach that computer from anywhere.

The web app does not run work locally on your computer. Use the desktop app for Local.
