Your device is the window. Each thread runs in one of three places, and you can choose per thread.

**Local (your computer).** Borg runs next to your own files. This is available in the desktop app.

**Cloud (Borg's computer).** Nothing to install. It wakes up when you send a request and sleeps when it is idle.

**Remote (your other computer).** Pair your desktop app once, then reach that computer from anywhere.

What each client offers:

The web app does not run work locally on your computer. Use the desktop app for Local.
